I have a Mac Server with a Drobo as a Network share. When I try and map it as a drive in Windows 7 I keep getting 'Device attached to the system is not functioning' this happens when I use either the full server name or the IP address. Sometimes It'll prompt me for a username and password, I'll login as Admin then I'll get the message again. I've attempted to map it with Net Use but I get errors 59 or 1709.

I've checked the Security Policies which I have it set to 'Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated' and the only Firewall turned on is the default Windows one

I can't see anything under Eventvwr as such so I'm unsure what to do next

    Any suggestions?
