I was reinstalling windows xp Pro, the setup was midways through when an error message popped up that said there was an error in the installation. The installation said there was a problem in the installation and that a file is missing from the installation cd. I am prompted to insert a windows xp pro cd into the computer. When I do, it does nothing and then I get an error and the computer restarts itself and repeats the process and I can't get out of this. I have the five floppy boot disks, but the problem is that I don't have a floppy drive...how do I get around this?

It sounds like you might have the jumpers set wrong on the CD drive or the hard drive.. Most likely the CD drive... This could be a problem with bad ram also..
