I recieved this error message while trying to run Spybot S&D-
The instruction at "oxy77f839 OS" referenced memory at "0x00000000." The memory could not be "written." Click on OK to terminate the problem.

When I click OK the error message would "bounce" back up, and I was forced to use CRL+ALT+DEL to end program Spybot. Also, yesturday, after I installed AOL v9.0 Optimized, I recieved an error message that was something like "AOL has detected an error....links have been disabled...would you like to run AOL Fix it (or whatever its called) to fix this problem?" I ran the Fix it tool, but after it started to "fix" an error message came up that said something like, "AOL has detected a conflict with Windows, Fix It will now stop. If the error occurs again call the technician."

Also, today after the error occurred with Spybot, I started to run Norton Antivirus, but it was scanning files at a rate of, probably, 50 per second, while in the past it scanned at hundreds to thousands per second.

Wondering what's going on? Please help! Thanks in advance!:)

have you gotten the latest update for spybot? as for the aol problem, call aol support-that's what they are there for and stay on the call until it gets resolved. if they don't want to do that get it escalated to a supervisor. you have to control the call to aol tech support-they get paid by the call so they don't care if it takes ten calls to solve a problem even if it can be resolved in one.
