When sending email from Outlook Express I receive the following pop up window which says "one or more messages in your outbox do not have a valid account specified. Would you like to use your default account to send these messages? When yes is answered and I try to send, this error message pops up: The host"SMTP' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the Server name correctly Account 'pop3' Server 'SMTP',Protocol:SMTP Port 25,Secure(SSL);No. 11001 Number Ox800CCC0D

Open OE, click TOOLS>ACCOUNTS, click the MAIL tab, there should be an entry under ACCOUNT, highlight it and click PROPERTIES, look to be sure that the information is correct including email address and server names, (click the SERVERS tab)
if you don't know what should be there contact your ISP and enter the info that they give you.

Generally the POP3 server name is mail.(isp name) ie: mail.myinternet.com. The SMTP server is usually smtp.(isp name).

Some ISPs have been known to change server names and forget to tell their customers.

    Hope this helps.
