It seems that for the last few weeks, whenever I am searching the internet, every second or so search result that I click on I get a message in the lower bar that says "Error on page" and it won't bring up the page. Never had this problem before. Any ideas. Its very frustrating when you are time limited and need to find a specific something.

Hi elizaj, have you tried the repair option for Ie,assuming you have IE.If you do go to Start>Settings>control panel>add and remove programs>highlight IE and internet tools>click remove>the dialog box will appear>put a tick in repair Ie>click ok.

Lets us know if this works.

Hi elizaj, glad to hear the problem is fixed. As for the reason this happens, could be caused by alot of things. It could happen when you download some software where it altered some files for ie.Could just be some files in IE got corrupt downloading from the internet. Then it could be caused by some spyware componets, that altered IE.Have you downloaded anything off the net recently?

Hi Again: I am always downloading something. I get quite a bit of varied uses from my computer. I am on it constantly. Well, when I am not at work or cooking supper or visiting family members but i think you get the idea. Any free moment and an idea. I have adaware and a virus scanner which i use regularly but sometimes things have a way of getting through i guess. Thanks for your expertise, and how do you become a senior member? I have been on here for almost two years. TTFN
