    Hi,

When I turned on my computer today a box came up saying ERROR STARTING PROGRAM with the following message: "A required .DLL file, PSAPI.DLL, was not found".

How do I fix this so that this message does not appear?

What o\s are you running ?

    If it's win98 - PSAPI.DLL should be in the C\Windows\system

Please check to see if you have one there

If you can't find it do a "find files" search and see if you can locate one on your computer

    post back with your results

I could not locate the file in the windows/system folder.

I tried to download the file as suggested, but it would not load.

    Any other ideas?

Thanks for your input all the same.

Yes - what o\s are you using ?

If it's win98 - like mine, I can upload the .dll from my computer,(it's only 28k) and you can put it in your C:\Windows\system folder.

Or it may be on your win98 cd or in your cab files - in which case you can replace it with SFC (system file checker)

Scott, did you ever fix that error message? It seems to be popping up more and more.
