I tried to edit a .cfg files by changing it to notepad, but I accidentally used "Open file type as" notepad, thus it changed all other .cfg files to notepad, I tried renaming the files or change it to all file types but it just doesn't work, I don't know how to change it back. I can't run games now because of that problem, and I'm kept getting errors now and then. Any fixes? It would be nice if I can fix it.

    Also, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

    still can't undo the changes..

Update: I fixed it, I don't know how but apparently changing notepad to notepad++ helps. Thanks!

That would work too I guess. You just reverted to notepad ++ for .txt files instead of what you had.

Go to Control Panel and do a search for a Windows control panel called Default Programs and then "Choose Default Apps by file type" and here you can remove associated file extensions with programs.

    Cheers!
