error with gamebios.dll not found

installed many games then formatted hard drive starting over. installed the same games back on. HOUSE OF THE DEAD get error a required dll file missing, gamebios.dll was not found. with a strip poker game i get error with the Msvbvm60.dll file not found what is going on?
