I currently have a computer with IDE Hard drives and I have a IDE External Enclosure HD. If I purchase a New Computer with eSATA Drives, would I still be able to use my IDE External Enclosure for Backups, as I do now or would they be incompatible with each other. Thankyou for any advice.

As long as the new PC has the HD connectors you should be fine.

Sure, I presume the external case is a USB case, it should work fine.
