ethernet cards

    windows xp home edition -- sony comp --
    how do i find out what kind of ethernet card i have? do i need to open up my tower or something? im trying to hook my internet up again and i have nooo clue. help!! =) thanks... =D

    Dear
    Find out what type of NIC is one thing and connect to internet is other kind of matter.

    **( I translate the steps from Chinese XP to English )

    Start > Setting > rightclick "Network connection" click "Open" > rightclick the NIC icon and choose "property" from the diagram. now you can found the type of NIC from the "connection method".
