I have replaced the original XP Home with XP Professional on my Acer Aspire one Netbok. Everything works fine, including the Wireless-Connection. However the Connection via LAN does not work.
    I'm missing the Ethernet-Controller Driver.
According the specifications the LAN ist described as
    10/100 base T

All searching in the Internet was not successful so far and I would be very happy if somebody could help me.
    Regard - bupeter

Go to the Acer website and select notebooks, service & support. select your laptop, and find drivers & downloads. You should find one there for your network card.

Thanks for your replay. I found at your suggested Site all drivers and was successful with everything except the Ethernet-Controller Driver. This driver does not exist at Acer's Library.
