Hi everyone! My computer can only use ethernet as my motherboard does not have any wifi capabilities and for the past 3 days I've been having issues with my internet but only on browsers, my webpages do not load at all, take a super long time to load or require a page refresh to load. All of my games, discord, spotify and everything else work perfectly fine though which is confusing to me as I don't know too much about this stuff.
Our main ethernet cable goes from our router into a splitter that then goes into my computer and another computer. The other computer works perfectly fine and my computer still experiences issues when trying another location on the ethernet splitter, another cable or plugging the main cable directly into my computer. In addition to the other computer working perfectly fine on ethernet, every other wireless device in the house has no issues with the wifi including multiple laptops, phones and tablets.
I tried lots of different fixes I found online, I've uninstalled and reinstalled my browsers, checked my ethernet port for dust or debris, checked for malware, reset the router, reinstalled my network adapters from the device manager, reset the tcp/ip, done a clean boot, changed my dns and I'm still experiencing issues. I've tried using both dns and https on my browsers as well as changed the dns in my windows settings. I have also checked to see if any of the devices on our network are sharing the same ip. I'm just super lost at this point as I've never had anything like this happen in the past 2 years of using this computer on ethernet.
Now after a couple days I've noticed that the issues mostly seem to happen with google related things though they still occur on other websites; the g-recaptcha doesnt work on a website, youtube doesnt load or takes a long time to load or gives me a not connected to internet message, google search results dont load and most of the time if I click on one it takes a long time to load then fails and I have to refresh it as well as gmail taking forever to load or not loading at all. I've cleared all my cookies and stuff multiple times so I'm not sure why this is still happening. Is it something on my ISPs end?
I'm also not sure how helpful/meaningful this is but I also did the tracert test and on 4 separate occasions everything from the 5th hop to the 30th hop shows up as request timed out.
Any help would be much appreciated!
