Ethernet plugged in but not shown

Hi there, I have recently plugged a Dell optiplex 260 onto my home network through an ethernet cable.

But when i go into windows network places nothin shows up ??

Can someone please help me out.

Try adding the computer to your home network through Windows, and also, try clicking "View Workgroup Computers."
