Ethernet stuck at 10Mbps

    Hello guys , my ethernet status speed is 100.0Mbps upload_2019-2-7_20-4-1.png


    But when i run a test is drops even bellow 10Mbps

    Today i just bought a new Cat6 cable. I don't know what to do . Please help me

    Hello zwaff, and welcome to TSG.

    Your computer is able to communicate at 100 Mb/Sec with whatever device is at the other end of the Ethernet cable. The most likely scenario is that something in or beyond that device is limiting the actual data rate to under 10Mb/Sec.

    I don't think anyone here would be able to offer much more assistance without knowing the details of how your computer connects to the Internet.

    Go into the Device Manager, then expand the Network Adapters heading.
    What's the name of the network adapter listed there?

    Double-click that network adapter to open its properties window.
    Navigate through the tabs to find its "speed" and "duplex" setting.
    What is it set on?

    Without knowing the description of your computer's ethernet device, I'm guessing it's an older 10/100 Mbps model and/or is on a wrong setting.
