I asked a question in the Security forum on behalf of a friend two days ago which hasn't been responded to yet. Would it be considered bad form to bump it, or should I just go ahead and do it?

I only ask because I've been part of forums before where bumping a thread was seen as a very, very big no.

    Anyway, thanks.

Bumping over there might delay getting an answer as they look 0 reply threads.

You can bump after 20 hours around.

The norm is 24 hours to wait before "bumping". :)

I've replied to your thread with instructions for you. :)
