Is there any way of getting rid of these 10016 events received on a daily basis?
I understand them not to be be harmful, but they are a nuisance getting so many everyday.

Many thanks.

I believe that ID is related to DCOM. It could be many different things that cause it. So if you could provide a screenshot of the exact error in details, it'd be a lot easier to point you in the right direction.

Have this Event ID always occurred or did something happen, like an update, software install etc., to provoke it?
Also please specify where it is. I'd guess in the "System Event log."

If you feel up to it you can try the fix on THIS site.

However, make sure you have a complete backup first. Mistakes can and do happen and it's possible to mess the system up completely.

So, if you're not certain that you can handle it, and it's not causing other issues than the event log entry, then I'd just leave it alone.
