The NetLogon service is, as the Event Description says, used to authenticate and logon to a domain. Typically you will only need to have this service started if your PC is part of a Corporate Network (Domain). Otherwise you could just stop the service.

    1. Click Start > Run
    2. Type, services.msc and click OK
    3. Find the NetLogon Service and right click it
    4. Select Properties
    5. Change to Start Type: Manual
    6. Under Service Status click the Stop button to stop the service
    7. Click OK
At this point you should not recieve the event anymore.
