I imported a wholesale price list (via OmniPage) into Excel. I would like to add a set markup fee to each of the cells in this spreadsheet (ie. if B1 is $1432, B2 is $1535, B3 is $1633 etc. I would like to globally add $500 to each of the cells).

Is there a way to do this without changing every individual cell?

Thanks!

Put 500 in any cell.
Copy it.
Select all cells to which you want to add 500.
Hit Edit-Paste Special, ADD. Ok.

You can increase by a % by typing in, say...1.25 (to add a 25% markup), copy it, then select cells and edit-paste special, multiply.

Additional tip ; I expect you know you can select adjacent cells with click'n'drag.

In case you don't know, you can select non-adjacent cells by holding down CTRL while clicking (& dragging if necessary).
