I was working on a spreadsheet and suddenly the screen started going crazy on me and I got the error message with the following options:

    Program not responding shutdown
    Wait for Program to respond
    Do nothing

Error may not be exact as I was not expecting an issue - I had been using the PC and Excel software throughout the day without any issue. When I tried to reboot I was still having issues. Reloaded from boot CD, however, the top of the screen for all software and on reboot of system has a banner label with a small icon for Excel appearing on it. The PC apprears to be semi functional, however, I can not get rid of the banner across the top.
