I have a spreadsheet with Labels from A - AE. I have two columns that contain barcodes. Column J contains Barcodes to assets.

Here is what I am wanting to do: I have a Wasp barcode reader. I want to scan the barcode on an asset, have it lookup the item in Column J, and if found I want the date placed in column U. I would like the barcode entry box to stay on top so that I can just scan away and it autopopulate my spreadsheet.

I have to do this once a week, so my column U will change each week to the next column.

OK next question. Since I do have to do this once a week, is there a way to set the column AF, AG, etc. with a date range based on the current date, so that for example, since today is Nov 18 and column AF is between Nov13-Nov18 it would be the column that receives the date based on the first question. So next week, Nov 23 would be set autmatically to AG because the date range for this column is Nov21-Nov26?

Thanks in advance. I could live without the second question, but the first one would be awesome!
