    I am getting the above message while trying to copy data, how do I get this cleared? The clipboard displays as empty and the data is small. I have shutdown the program and restarted with no luck.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Marge: Is it a Windows error or an Office error?

    Hi,

    Maybe you could clear the clipboard of it's contents .. ? Try running this ..

    Code:
    Public Declare Function OpenClipboard Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Long) As Long
    Public Declare Function EmptyClipboard Lib "user32" () As Long
    Public Declare Function CloseClipboard Lib "user32" () As Long

    Public Function ClearClipboard()
        OpenClipboard (0&)
        EmptyClipboard
        CloseClipboard
    End Function

    Sub ccc()
        Call ClearClipboard
    End Sub
    .. that is, if it is your clipboard, which will clear everything. As this is a windows object - not just an Excel object.
