Excel formula to round

    Hi everyone,
    Could someone please tell me what formula to use to round numbers as follow:
    For example:
    Round $1.03 to $1.05
    Round $1.12 to $1.10
    Round $1.86 to $1.85

    Try using MROUND. If the original unrounded value is in cell A1 and the rounded value is to go in B1 then set B1 to =MROUND(A1, 0.05)

    I think you need the MROUND function in the analysis tool pack.

    Ooops, I forgot MROUND was not part of the typical standard Excel installation. This alternate version using the (standard?) ROUND function should work just as well:

    =5*(ROUND(A1/5,2))
