I have a spreadsheet that contains text (D) in the description (Z), I would like to remove the repeated text only in the description (Z). Is there a formula that will also remove that text from the string? In column AA, I have just identified the value using formula =IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH(D2,Z2))Z2)

    I appreciate your help!

    Hello Cindy,

I think that it would be easier to do this with a Substitute function in your AA Column. ;)

    Such as:

    Code:
    =SUBSTITUTE(Z2,D2,"")
    Best of Luck!
