Excel Pivot table

    I am working in Excel 2010 creating a pivot table with two fields: company, Job tiltle, but when I try to add the job title to the count field, it shows the data in date format instead a regular number, how can i fix this?

    Another option, if you want to utilize the Job Title field in other locations, is to add a calculated field, whereas your formula would be =COUNTA('Job Title'), name it whatever you want (i.e. JobTitleCOUNT), then add that to the Values field.
