After first log on for the day the following message appears: "Application has created an exception that could not be handled. Process id=0x604 (1540), Thread id= 0x674 (1652). Click OK to terminate application. Click cancel to debug the application."

Clicking cancel seems not to "debug". Clicking OK just removes the sign. Startup for logging on seems very slow. It's relatively ok for the rest of the day, but slower than months ago.

I'm a beginner and would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks!

Hi leslieguinn,

What OS are you running? What application were you running?
The message you encountered from the application you were running that caused it indicates that the application does not have an exception handler for the specific exception you encountered - i.e. programmer did not anticipate the application would need that exception to be handled.

In these cases if you simply respond ok to kill the application, you should be able to restart a new instance of it - if you know what applicaton caused it.
