Ok, Here is what is going on. I have a user that we change the last name of. Everything has been change in AD, but when she sends a email out, her old last name comes up in the from box. I have been up and down in both ad and the exchange manager and everything is showing the new last name. Does anyone have any idea of whats going on

I'm assuming you changed the Display name under the Active Directory user properties general tab but just to make sure did you put 'DoNotUpdateDisplayName' in extensionAttribute2 under custom attributes on the Exchange Advanced tab.

Once thats done, just wait for replication and the RUS to update, you may need to force an update of or generate a new address list.

I'd also check the client to see what the display name is set to there.

None of this works or theres a problem, let us know.
