Hi, i'm having troubles getting activesync to play nicely with an exchange server 2007.

when i configure the server source and put in the server ip, username, password and domain, then when i click ok i immediatley get the error:

No Microsoft Exchange was detected at the specified address. Click Retry to check the address again, or click Continue to configure your PocketPc to synchronize with this server anyway.

I know there is an exchange server at IP address i've given it, unless i need to forward some more ports to the server itself (which ones i don't know! I've already got 443 forwarded).

If i just click continue, select what i want synchronized and let it try, activesync throws an error message when trying to sync with the Exchange server:

Synchronization could not be completed. Try again later.

    Support Code:80072f17

which seems to be something to do with certificates, so i got a certificate from our server (not sure if it was the right one!) and installed it on my pda, and still no joy!!

If anyone could shed some light on this, i would be very greatful!!

    Cheers,

    George
