My current set up is one computer that have a proxy server, exchange server and a database server.
I setup a old computer to become my communications server, i set up the proxy server in there. My problem is i don't want to move the exchange server to the new comm. server. How do i tell exchange to use the proxy server to connect to the internet?
As far as I know, you install the Proxy Client on the Exchange server. Then, when your Internet Connector attempts to make a connection to the internet, it will go through the proxy server.

You misunderstood me. Right now you have the Exchange server and the proxy SERVER on the same machine.
Install the RAS and proxy server on a new PC, and install the proxy CLIENT on the Exchange box.
If you look at the new Proxy server via network Neighbourhood, you will see a share called MSPCLNT, and install files inside. Run these install files and reboot the exchange server (it is a good idea to stop the exchange services first, to save time).
