    I have recently inheritage our company server Which is a pretty hefty machineDell Poweredge16gb Ramdual ProcessersTerra Byte HDsVM Warewindows server 20003Exchange 2007 I have been ok to date except I cannot add a new user mailbox in Exchange, I get the message>>> "An Exchange 2007 server on which an address list service is active cannot be found " I have tried a variety of suggestion but still at a dead end any thoghts

    Make sure the exchange system attendant service isn't stopped.

    What flavor of Windows Server is being used and how are the CALs setup for exchange?
