Hello, i've been infected by this trojan called Optix or something and now I can't execute any of my files! I can't even get into the registry, I have found a tool called EXEFIX08 but it only works for win98! I tried it on windows 2000 but it fails because I think it's looking for c:windows instead of c:\winnt, anyway, if anyone knows of a win2000 version or any other software that can fix this, please tell me!

    Try this:

Copy the bold text to Notepad, save as Exe.reg (save as 'all files'), and doubleclick.

Anwer yes, when asked whether you want the contents of Exe.reg added to the Registry.

    Afterwards you need to reboot.
