Last year I got an MTX virus, which i ran thru Norton, repaired, quarantined and delted. Ever since then, if my mouse (pointer) touches the toolbar on the bottom of the screen i get an Explorer error which says "Explorer caused an invalid page fault in an unknown module" I been working around it for too long now and want to fix this problem. Anything you can suggest I would appreciate. I have gone to microsoft support and what they suggested didn't do anything. Thanks....................Jani :p

Hiya and Welcome

Just to put our minds at ease, go here and download Startup Log. Install and run it. A DOS window will appear. Let it close, then copy/paste the list here.

Also, as you said it said Unknown Module, go here

www.lavasoftusa.com and download AddAware. Install and run it, ensuring that all the boxes regarding deep registry scan are checked. Remove all it says, except any refernces to Web3000. If you are unsure, post the list here.

Regards
