I have a cable modem. When I launch my MSN browser the majority of the time internet explorer will launch itself. It then opens several blank screens and then "An error has occured in the script on this page" message appears along with:
    Line:52
    Char:3
Error: the specified module could not be found
    code:0
then I get a URL: that says different things every time. It then asks "Do you want to continue running scripts on this page ? ".
I click yes and close the 4-5 blank screens it has opened.
What can I do to stop this?
    Aline

Go to Tools/Internet Options/advanced, and check the 'Disable script debugging' option.

    Click OK.

    Now please do this:

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#det , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please show us its contents.
