Often when I shutdown, I get the message that explorer.exe is not responding and I must hit end now to continue shutdown. This happens in safe mode as well as normal mode. Is this a problem? If so, how do I correct it. I use Windows XP and it is updated.

Thanks.

The message comes up mainly when I have been in safe mode. Would this have something to do with it.

The page you referred does not really address the problem.
