Alright... yes I am an advanced user but not an uber 98 user(LFS ;))..

Anyways, basically heres the scoop, I have a good friend's computer here in the shop and it wont boot fully. It gets to the GUI and and then "Explorer has performed an illegal operation" comes up, and on details it says "Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module Explorer.exe". Well, I am going to take a wild *** guess and say that something has floozed her internet explorer, and since IE is either totally hosed or gone, Explorer wont function. I have one by one gone through the CAB files and extracted several items, including Explorer.exe itself and Shdocvw.dll(MS support center said that..).

So where are the libs for Explorer.exe and IE, and where do I put them? I think this will solve my problem.. if my hypothoseis is correct.
