I have seen this problem in 5 different compuers lately. some with XP Home, some with PRO.

Usually when windows starts, the desktop aperas with or without the shortcuts and icons, and then nothing respondes. The only way to finish the startup and start working is by killing explorer.exe and running it again.

When opening the task manager, there is no task in the list, and no proccess with high cpu.

Sometimes not after startup, everything get stuck again (the mouse can move), and the solution is the same.

I formatted and reinstalled genuine win on two of those computers, but it keeps happen.

    Any ideas?
