Could be almost anything causing this can he get as far as clicking on this http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html and downloading this to its own folder(important) then posting a log here for analysis,so we can see what may be causing the problem.........

    Wicked.. Your both great.. :D
Not only did it fix the problem i was having but now i can surf pages faster then i remember ever being able to (on this comp)..
I have Ad-Aware Se Professional, i assume that it's fine to use that instead of the personal one?.. I've had SpyBot - Search & Destroy for yonks, but have never bothered installing it for some reason.. (shrugs).. I will though..
An I deleted "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe", but was that necessary?.. I love my MSN Plus!, and as far as i know you can choose at installation if you would like to install the sponsor programs, and i of course chose not to.. What's wrong with it? :| (Plus, it gets rid of that stupid banner at the bottom of MSNM >.<;;..)

Thanks for this telecom, your a legend.. (y)

Yes you MUST install Spybot but update it before running It and get rid of ALL it finds that is ticked in RED .....

yes your version of adaware is ok but again update it before running it and get rid of ALL it finds ......

You can put your messenger thing back if you like its up to you but it does have spyware connections there is a facility in hijack for doing this .....

Let me know how much adaware and Spybot finds ......

PS give that erin me a whopping big kiss too she was the one who got you out of this :D

Done.. It found 61 problems.. But 19 of them were named "Download Accelarator Plus ads".. I just wanna make sure that it won't screw with my DAP before i tell it to be rid of them.. So do you know if it will mess with my DAP?..
I deleted all the other things though, most i recognised as dodgey stuff.. But then i got Alert messages from SpyBot saying that it couldn't locate various dll files.. But then admitting that it couldn't get rid of a couple things it said it could on next start up.. So imma restart now.. Should be all good though..

I'm prolly a lil obsessive about Ad-Aware, i run it a few times a day and check for updates before i run it each time.. :p (unless i've just got an update that day)..
Ad-Aware only found 2 things.. Deleted.. Well it only found 2 critical objects, there were a few neglible objects aswell though..

    Done.. :D

Thanks again for the help.. Your a champ..

OK In spybot if they are ticked/marked in RED you should get rid of them, they are always at the top of the list, anything else it list is left to your discretion, but be careful what you remove,if in doubt leave it where it is .......

If you keep on top with Adaware it usually only comes up most days with a couple of tracking cookies as you have probably found out .....

One more thing for you to do now,if you havent got it I would ask you to download spyware blaster from here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2859.html it has a huge database of anti-spyware and stops it getting on your computer in the first place, you dont need to run it or anything just click on it and enable protection, dont forget to look for updates before operating it,I thoroughly reccomend this little application
