    Hi;
    I consistently get this error message and would like to know what if anything, I can do to correct this problemEXPLORER caused a general protection fault
    in module V128IID.DRV at 0002:0000b3d1.

    What version of Windows are you using?

    TY for responding so quickly. (y) I am using Win 98. And this error message comes up when I open any document (especially from My Documents folder) and also (being such a newbie) it seems to pop up almost randomly when I am surfing. :eek:

    TY for the advise. I was able to get a screenshot with Dr.Watson this is what I got.
    Velocity 4400 Windows 95 Display driver, Version 0.7131 accessed memory improperly or encountered some nonspecific error.

    This error occured while closing a word doc.
    The given sugestion was to reinstall the program. I have all the disks that came with the comp. but am not sure how to install only the needed prog.
