Just trying to figure this out as sometimes pop up ads appear out of no where for random searches on ebay. Its getting annoying. I have done some things with Hijack this, but not on my new computer. Anyone mind taking a look at the log file?
thanks, GAH forgot to attach it as a file when i originally posted.. Sorry for the long length, but I can't add a attachment now.

first we can do nothing with HJT in atemp folder so

go to here and download 'Hijack This!' self installer. Save it to the desktop or other suitable place. DO NOT just press run from the website Double click on the file and it will install to C:\program files\hijackthis and create an entry in the start menu and an optional shortcut on desktop.
Click on the entry in start menu or on the desktop to run HijackThis
Click the "Scan" button, when the scan is finished the scan button will become "Save Log" click that and save the log.
Go to where you saved the log and click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log back here in a reply.
It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required,
so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

and this is VITAL to see as well
Please create a list of programs that can be removed using Add/Remove Programs
    Start HiJackThis
    Press 'Config'
    Press 'Misc Tools'
    Press 'Open Uninstall Manager'
    Press 'Save List'
Save the log to a convenient location
Copy the log and post its contents in this thread

first uninstall newdot net by following advice here http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

    then reboot then

Download pocket killbox from http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/killbox.exe & put it on the desktop where you can find it easily

Run hijackthis, put a tick in the box beside these entries listed below and ONLY these entries, double check to make sure, then make sure all browser & email windows are closed and press fix checked

    O2 - BHO: URLLink - {4A2AACF3-ADF6-11D5-98A9-00E018981B9E} - C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet7_48.dll
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bits iso shim atom] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Burnmpegbitsiso\army else.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [New.net Startup] rundll32 C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL,ClientStartup -s
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Save 1] C:\DOCUME~1\Ryan\APPLIC~1\TONSDE~1\noungrid.exe

now Start killbox, paste the first file listed below into the full pathname and file to delete box

The file name will appear in the window, select delete on reboot , press the red X button, say yes to the prompt and NOto reboot now then repeat for each file in turn

[Note: Killbox makes backups of all deleted files & folders in a folder called C:\!killbox ] If Killbox tells you any files are missing don't worry but make a note and let us know in your next reply

    C:\DOCUME~1\Ryan\APPLIC~1\TONSDE~1\
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Burnmpegbitsiso\
    C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\

Then on killbox top bar press tools/delete temp files, in the pop up box towards the middle is a drop down box containing a list of all user accounts on this drop down user account box, select your account, select ALL options it will allow you to, then then press delete selected temp files , then repeat for every user account listed in that drop down box

then reboot & post new HJT log & tell us how it is

Here is what it is showing after the hjt. also sometimes my computer is crashing and giving me a blue screen. It is saying a device malfunction of some sort. Would it be from overclocking or does that mean a device driver is jacked up?
    thanks,

what is the error message on the blue screen

we can see what this shows

    Download Combofix to your desktop:

    * Double-click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
    * When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
