Is there any way to export the output from an Access report to a Word document so you can save it as a .doc file?

Create the report in access and while it's selected choose save as. You can export it to a rtf format which is editable in Word. I am sure there are ways to do it programatically too. Go to www.slipstick.com for more details and a search

Open the report in 'Print Preview' (i.e.select the report and click Open).
Click the Office Links button with the Word "W" on it. By default this saves the report as a RTF file in your My Documents folder, and opens a Word containing the report information.

Whilst the window is open, File, Save As, Word document.
You'll have to delete the RTF document later.

Thanks to y'all for responding so promptly. I feel quit stupid after seeing how easy it is to do. All these years of using Access and I have never paid attention to the Office link on the preview screen. Dum-dum-dum!!
