I am trying to extend my home wifi (an EE router) with an (Apple) Airport Express (2nd gen) that I've inherited.
Is it possible to extend my wifi by 'adding' the AE to my home network wirelessly? and thus extending the reach of the wireless network? I have managed to connect the AE to my network, however when I try change the setting of the AE within Airport Utility on my iMac to 'extend an existing network' rather than just be connected to it, it disconnects from my wifi network and I have to reset the AE just to try again.

Any suggestions and tips welcome! If photos/screenshots are helpful I will happily post. Thank you!

    Josh
