For my laptop i got an iomega predator usb cdrw drive. I have win xp running and the files the cd loads for the burner install easy cd creator 4, which doesnt work with xp, but it asks for easy cd creator 5 and for me to buy it. Not only that but it causes problems with windows and it says that it shuts off that drive and the drivers. I've unistalled the drivers and software and regedited the information out. Now if i plug the drive in it recognizes it perfectly so i tried to burn a cd using nero burning rom. The physical cd had the writing marks on it but it doesnt work anywere. the copy of nero is the demo. If i got a full version copy of easy cd creator 5 from the net would it burn right? any suggestions?

EZ Creator 4 is not compatible with Win-XP, so that's one problem. Personally, I am not a fan of EZ-Creator, and I'd probably opt for Nero, which I did. :D
