I bought a toshiba 500 GB external hard drive however when I plug it into my computer(sony viao w/windows 7), it isn’t recognized or doesn’t prompt me to download the drivers. It doesn’t appear in my computer as a storage device either, however when I went into devices and printers it was there but did nothing when I clicked on it. So I tried to manually download the drivers from Toshiba and matched up the model number and everything but less than half way through it gave me an error message about it isn’t compatible with a 64bit, but when I used it on a different 64bit computer it worked fine and prompted it to download the drivers, what do I do?
