    Hi!

Just got an old icy box "IB-351U" from a friend - to copy old data from left over IDE HDDs - I've been browsing the web for about 3 hours and everywhere is the same sollution to this problem - this link:

    http://www.mvixusa.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=74

The problem is that this link is dead for me - it allways redirects me to the default page

    http://www.mvixusa.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/List

Tried from 4 different PC-s, 3 different providers (but all from Slovakia) - my guess is that the link does not exist anymore - tried searching for the answer on mvixusa, no luck.

Please, can someone repost / link a sollution? Im using win 7 pro 64bit.

Thank you for any advice, cheers!

Edit: Heh, slipped my mind :) sorry - The problem is that win wont indetify the IDE-to-USB icy-box - in device manager there is only an "other device", "Cypress AT2LP RC58" - I cannot find a driver.

You never state what the problem is; what exactly is the issue? When you connect the device does it not work, cannot read, etc.

Unless you post your problem, no one can help you.

That appears to be a simple hard disk enclosure; there are no drivers to load. Every os since win98 has native usb support.
I would tend to think the device has failed however it does not hurt to check. Here is the support page for your device; they do list an app to download however I think that is just a backup app.
