    XP has a vast amount of bugs like this my favorite is everytime I try to use their word program which for some reason is installed on the laptop I use..

    I would suggest running the windows update feature and making sure you are up-to-date on all critical updates and patches for XP make sure to include the ones for IE ect.. I found the service pack for word helped a lot to minimize the amount of times I get that message.

    There are thousands of different possible errors, so the thing to do is to click on 'click here' in your error message, so that we'll know what it says.

    Good luck,

    You can disable error reporting, but it won't prevent the errors themselves from occurring.

    That said, I've disabled it in Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 and now 6.0 as well,

    It may be a coincidence but I have the feeling I'm getting fewer errors now that I've disabled it... :D

    Incidentally, here's the reg fix to disable error reporting in IE 5.5 SP2/6.0:

    REGEDIT4

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
    "IEWatsonEnabled"=dword:00000000
    "IEWatsonDisabled"=dword:00000001

    Copy the bold to Notepad, save as IEWatson.reg, and doubleclick to import it into the registry.

    Reboot.

    Good luck,
