My computer has always been fast but recently (like in the past couple of days) whenever I click on firefox to bring up the browser the computer slows down to a literal standstill. It can take up to a min for the browser to load. The hard drive light becomes steadily lit and no other programs will work until the browser loads. This doesn't happen when I load other programs, only when I open firefox.

    Stats:
    Gateway notebook
    Win XP Media Center
    100 gig hard drive
    1 gig RAM
    Antivirus: AVG Free
Firewall: Zone Alarm Free (usually runs on medium)

    HJT log:
