Can you connect to other sites?

Can you connect in Safe Mode With Networking?

    ----------------------------------------------------

How to Access Safe Mode With Networking

While the computer is turning on, tap F8 once every second until a black screen with white text appears. Using your arrow keys highlight the option Safe Mode With Networking and hit Enter.

Note: If you're using Windows XP, connect to your modem or router with an Ethernet cable, then follow these directions.

I have no problem with any other websites just Facebook on both my wife's and my account. I will try safe mode with networking and see if that works.
    Thanks.

It was taking too long in Safe Mode to even load the facebook login page. I did try to flush DNS while in safe mode but to no avail. I still can't logon now after restarting normally.

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    Hit Enter
Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

    ----------------------------------------------

    Launch Internet Explorer

    Click Tools

    Click Internet Options

    Select the Connections tab

    Click "LAN Settings"

Make sure the check mark(s) under Proxy server is not present.
