I have 2 laptops. I have Microsoft acct., verizon is my provider. One laptop is 17" and the other is 15". I would like to "Factory reset the 15" and have this one different from the other one. Can I do this without deleting all my data from the system? :(

No, when you "Factory reset" you return it to the state when you first got it before you added any programs or files.

Yes, but does this pertain only to the 15" laptop and not what's in the 17"?

If you factory reset the 15" laptop it will have no affect on the 17" one.

I factory reset the 15" Toshiba w/windows 7 and had no problem. Went smooth. I also have a 14" Toshiba with windows 10. This is what happened:
    Pressed zero,
    "Resetting this computer:
    20%, 70%,72%, 73% then message
There was a problem resetting this computer, then Toshiba Innovation page shows up and keeps going on and off. Please help. Marianjd
