I got a pop-up window for AntiVirus 2009, thought it was an update for the protection which came with Windows XP Home Edition. My fault, should have been more careful.
    Now I have pop-ups constantly:-
"Threats detected. Warnings 37 infectons found. Unwanted software (malware) or cookies have been found during the last scan, it is highly recommended to remove it from your computer"
    "AntiVirus 2009
System Files modification alert. Some critical files of your computer were modified by malicious program. It may cause system instability and data loss. Click here to block unathorise(their spelling) modification by removing threats(Recommended)"
A window for registration also pops up.
These are just a few of the pop-ups/
This file is not in "Add&Remove software"
I've tried search, once found cannot delete. Message says "access denied"
I went to their web site & sent an e-mail, which was probably not a good idea.
My computer skills area a beginner level, so I will need step by step instructions.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you. pnbjeb
