Hello, I've been having an issue when running Fallout 3 which involves a peculiar display abnormality.

I'm not sure if there is a technical term for it, but basically an area of the image at the center of the screen will flash various colors, most commonly white. The area covers no more than a few inches of the monitor and is either oval or square in shape.

It usually occurs when there is some graphics intensive action happening at the center of the screen, such as an enemy being attacked, a grenade exploding, etc. It does not always happen, but it has happened enough that I am sure it is not a one-time anomaly.

    Thanks for any help!
