    Welcome to TG

A fatal OD usually means there Windows is encountering some corruption of the code in an application. The error message itself is not much help in identifying the cause.

Try these two things: Open the Device manager by pressing the Windows and Pause Keys at the same time.

Expand the + beside your cd-rom

Highlight your cd-rom entry and click Properties>Settings.

Remove the checks for DMA mode and autoinsert notification.

    Close everything and reboot.

Now put a cd in. It will not autoplay with autoinsert nofication unchecked, so you will have to manually access and run the files you want. Do you get any errors that way?
